Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are critical as the process of providing a certificate of your insurance to another party may be the last chance you have to apply risk management techniques to a given exposure or potential loss situation.
Standard COIs are produced in-house and are available upon request.
• Relationship statements or school recognition requirements
Additional Insured COIs
To provide Additional Insured COIs, our staff and your legal advisors need complete information and documentation, as well as adequate lead-time. This includes submitting a completed Event Planning Form with contracts stating insurance requirements 30 days in advance of any event requiring a COI. Providing these will enable our staff and your legal advisors to provide you with effective and prompt service in response to your COI request.
• Additional Insured requests from schools;
• Renting third-party facilities for social functions, initiation, retreats, etc.;
• Chapter house leases or housing agreements.
Evidence of Property Insurance (EOIs)
Evidence of Property Insurance (EOIs) is for informational purposes only, namely, evidencing insurance coverage for an insured by any interested party. To provide EOIs, our staff requires a written request from the party requiring evidence of your insurance. For lenders, the Customer or Loan Number and Required Property Insurance Values are necessary.
